I am currently hooked on Prison Break which is a very intellectually stimulating show as you see how this one man leads his brother who is incarcerated and on death roll for a murder he didnt commit.

On my weekends, i spent my days watching the serial as im hooked onto the seamless plan of Michael Scofield(Wenworth Miller) and his perfectly shaped bald head
In one of the scene he was talking to one of the black inmates and getting all guru with him
So the black inmate commented:
"Just because you think you have a college degree, you think you rule inside here? Well, in here, Darwin rules, not Einstein."

That got me thinking.

In this society/community that we live in, does it take a bigger attitude or bigger brain to stay the top dog?

I asked sarah for her opinion and have yet to reach to a conclusion.

Workload is kinda pilling up already

Like i have said, i think i work better under pressure.
People may think im plain lazy, but thats just how i work.

It may not be the smartest/best modus operandi cause it would usually involve a little sleep deprivation.

Caught stomach flu yesterday and i have to say it was one of the most awful day i have ever gone thorugh in my whole 21 years
i practically puked EVERYTHING out of my system and everything else that i take in after that

Mummy called me just now and told me that she, dad and Gina are going to San Fran and LA in october and she cant take me cause im schooling

this post is dedicated to all my caring pess friends who are so concerned with my diet cause they never see me eat in school( which is so not true)

To begin, i have to say that the food in NIE is on the contrary very yummy, perhaps one of the better places to have food in the whole of NTU.
I dont need crystal jade or a silver plate to make me down food okay?
But why the weird eating patterns you might say?
To make you understand, i have to start from the very beginning which is the complicated biological makeup of my wonderful stomach.

If you havent seen me, there is no way, no way that i would not eat and still look the way i am.
I am one giant ball of lard. Hello??
The reason you guys dont see me eat in school is very simple- I am just not hungry when the "normal" ppl are.

I don't know how is it that people can just wake up and start eating so early in the morning.
I'll first admit that i am totally not a breakfast person
The "most important meal of the day" crap, i do not buy that from day 1.
I know, biologically, it makes sense. And to top it all off, i am doing bio and PE.
But my jaws can hardly move in the morning.
I reckon i am partially exothermically warmed up, so no raisin bun or P&J sandwhich will tempt me in the morning.
And to top it all off, i see ppl eating nasi lemak or fried bee hoon in the morning.
I just feel like puking. Way too much chewing and flavour for the early mornings.

So when exactly do i get hungry?
I have been observing my eating patterns and i came up with a graphical illustration of how my stomach operates.
here it is.


so as you can see, binging period only kicks in around 3pm in the afternoon and dies down because i'd probably be full from whatever i was eating.
and following that, would be dinner a ard 8 cause lessons end so freaking late this sem. Boo
weird! i know.
so yeah
so! stop telling me i dont eat in school!
cause i do-just at a different time.

melati and i were totally laughing our asses off throughout the show.

this bunch of people found a bag of money, 500000 cash in a hotel with a dead man and this starts their adventure for their persuit of the lifestyle of the rich and famous as they try to keep the cash for themselves.

i love love love kumar and najip ali in this show.

back from taipei.
I guess the highlight of our time there was that we perspired buckets cause its just so freaking hot and humid over there. Temperatures could soar to a skin searing 35 degrees on a normal day.
We had to get huge sun hats, wear our sunglasses, apply sun protection and in the night, fend off blood sucking mosquitoes and houseflies.
Apart from the weather though, the place was awesome.
Taiwanese have to be one of the friendliest and welcoming people i have ever met.
Wherever we got lost or can get our navigation right, there are no lack of people to turn to for help. And there were even people who took a detour and lead us all the way to our destination.
Such kind souls i tell you.
I guess, i will try to upload pictures.
But as you know, it probabaly will never happen cause im just too lazy

School experience started on tuesday, this week i am at East View Primary school.
I have to say, primary school kids are not as irritating as i thought they would be. In fact, i am actually growing to like them.
I got assigned to the best and not so good classes and the stark difference in the students behaviour kinda took me by surprise.
The tail end classes, surprisingly were more out spoken and asked more questions while the better classes were more afraid to ask questions and give answers
weird right?
and its very weird when they call me teacher.
"teacher teacher! are you coming to our class again? come in! can i go toilet?"

I was watching the michael jackson tribute this morning from 1am to 4am and i had to go to school at 630am.
I know! Crazy!
But i reckoned this tribute would only come once in my entire living years so what the heck man.
Well, i cried like a baby.
Its just so sad to see such a talented man pass way before his time.
I somehow think that the world would change after his comeback concert, but it was never meant to be.
And the finale when Paris jackson broke down just tore me apart.
I still think that the man is innocent and remeber having a heated debate over this issue with mr wei heng who thinks that man is wacko.
The world would never see another artist, singer, performer like Michael Jackson, thats for sure.
His global dominace was one and only.
I think with the way we are able to get music and entertainment now, it is impossible to produce another MJ ever-EVER.
I really love the quote from one of the reverend, he told MJ's 3 children,
"There was nothing strange with your daddy, it was strange what he had to deal with, but he dealt with them all."
touche to that.
The power of the media in pushing people to desperation.
So, right now, its goodbye to a world icon, one of my favourite artist of all time.

New room

So, i have many of you asking me about my room and when am i going to post the pics up.
Honestly, if i weren't this insomic now, you probably would never see the pics unless you go to my sister's blog or somethig
But the photos she took of my room was when i was unpacking, so it kinda ugly ad messy.
Alrighty.
I took time to tidy everything up and with some vacuuming,
here it is!


this is my bed.
It is a rounded platform made of wood and covered in black suede
On the wall is a headboard feature made of soft cushiony sponge or something and covered in red pvc.
It extends all the way up to my ceiling.


So, here is my wardrobe and booksehelf
And you can see
Its in red and black again
The bookshelf was bought from ikea.
The side of the wall where my book shelf is is in clamshell grey if you take a harder look
The grey tone takes up most of the right side of the room


Over at the study table, the side of the wall is painted red again
and so are the legs of my table and my chair


Lastly, this is my hanging lamp.
It's damn pretty as the black flower details on the outer shell of the lamp is very intricate
I chose warm white lights which gives a slightly yellow glow as compared to the normal white light.
So whenever you enter my room, you just feel like chilling or sleeping
Definitely not a good place to study.

well, so this is my room.
Its not designerish or anything, but i love it for the fact that all these came from what i had planned in my mind from scratch.

Okay, im starting to feel tired now.
