Sand and stone

i chanced upon this mail which kinda hit me right in the face.
im still trying to force myself to be a very gracious person because i feel like i am "above average" on the graciousness scale
but apparently not enough for me to do this- yet.

Two friends were walking throug the desert
During some point of the journey, they had an arguement and one friend slapped the other one in the face.
The one who got slapped was hurt, but without saying anything, wrote in the sand
"today, my best friend slapped me in the face"

They kept on walking until they found an oasis where they decided to take a bath in
The one who got slapped got stucked in a mire and started drwoning, but they friend saved him
After he recovered, he wrote on a stone
"Today, my best friend saved my life"

The same friend then asked
"After i hurt you, you worte in the sand and now you write on a stone. Why is that so?"

The friend replied
"when someone hurt you, you should write it in sand where the winds of forgiveness can erase it away, but when someone does something good for us, we must engrave it on stone where no wind can ever erase it"

forgiveness is such an easy thing to do, but it hurts so much when your you feel so taken for granted at times
i am still giving this whole situation a through thought
Please dont be alarmed by this randome post.

On a lighter note, i am finally done with all the documentation and processing for school yesterday
and as a mini celebration, my mum took me out for shopping and i came back with many gifts
1) longchamp paris large long strap tote
2) large Calvin Klein Jeans bag in yellow that i have been eyeing since god knows when

yay! 2 new bags for the new school term.
I cannot be a happier person.
for now, all i have to do is to wait for camp to come and go asap
im so not a camping, cheering, og loyal kinda person
and im kinda dreading this camp
Not to mention how serious and stren the female PE teacher at the PE school camp regstration booth looked.
But at least the guys were friendly.
We all know where our concerns lie huh?
But if the camps are anything like how yan yan and pei shi described them
then it should be no problemo

oh! And Yan Yan texted me telling me we got into hall 8!
i was kinda disappointed we didnt get an aircon hall 3 or 16
i wonder how am i suppose to live without airconditioning
but from looks of picture, it looks not too shabby, so yeah. in fact, kinda resort-like i must say.
okay. all the updates ends here. will try to include some pictures of my new purchases next time.
oh. and im an official Nike plus human race runner on the 31st august. can't wait!! the whole world is signing up for this marathon.
i'll be gg with wee wee and the besties.
Now we wouldnt wanna be left out do we?
girls?? wanna join?
Go sign up now!

oh! and Dark knight kicked some major Zohan, Hancock ass.
Its in a whole different league to be compared
Way good. and i caught it on the primier day.
I have to say Heath Ledger's death is certaintly a loss to the movie world because he is a VERY good actor.
on the same standing as leonardo de caprio on my scale now. and i think leo is a damn good actor by the way.
Plus, the movie is so gonna be worth your money cause its almost 3 hrs long
must watch!

p.s: wee wee gimme a little more time. a bit more. i cant wait!
p.p.s: fish therapy cum makan? girls?
p.p.s: besties on for zoo?
