didn't realised how much my running speed has deproved until the cooper's test today.
in case you are wondering what the heck is a cooper test.
basically. you run like a dog for 12 mins.
and at the end of the twelve mins you have to record the distance you ran in this twelve mins.
sounds easy huh??
well....... not at all.
when you are not contained by a standard distance to run, this is the time where mental strength comes in.(which i conveniently happen to lack)
as miss lim always says: we're canoeist, we don't run 2.4 because there's no challange.
yeah right.

speaking of 2.4
i'll be taking the dreaded NAPFA next week.
most of the girls in the team are like iron ladies
more pressure to speak of.
thanks to my short legs
i can only jump a max distance of 188cm when i need to jump 194cm to get five marks.
how is it possible???
at a time like this i can only say one thing
bye bye max meridian

at this point in time, i have more inportant things to worry about.
women's champs on sunday
as i have said
i have been slacking alot since the national junior champs
managed to clinch 2 golds for that compeition.
how abt this one?
not that i'm good or anything
but when you're there and people are watching,
you have many expectations to meet
now, canoeing is no longer about trying to chase the boat infront of you and try to get into the finals
it more like meeting up to people's expectations of me.
not that i don't enjoy the sport anymore
but the intensity of the pressure is building up and buillding up fast.

and for the people at mac ritchie
if you haven't noticed
i have eyes
i know you are wacthing
i welcome challanges with open arms
but please don't give me names like "miss pao ka liao" or anything else even if it sounds good
it will only make me wanna beat you more.
much more!
so.... do i say thanks or do i say thanks???
thanks.

my canoeing journey has just begun
the passion is burning and burining bright
more medals awaits me on sunday
bring it on!!!
