When you were a student, you hear about adults telling you how it is better to remain as a student as you have no worries and responsibilities mounted on your shoulders.
And i am sure most of our response to that i that "i will prove you wrong! I hate studying and i would rather work and earn my own keep and be a much happier person!"
Well, I am here today to basically take those words back and take a bite of the humble pie.

Beyond the money that you get for your hard work, you have to deal with endless people getting you at your back for things that you may have done or not.
And suddenly like a kid who was told that Santa isn't real, my Newton's Law didnt work for the first time.
Effort isn't recognized anymore and on the contrary you see lesser effort being commended and you wonder what is going on.

i felt so clueless during track class cause i cant seem to get my footing right, result in my feet getting caught in the rope cause there wasnt enough take off power.
Feeling like a loser, i decided to practice it right after track class
the miracle thats is rizal or rather coach rizal did his voodoo on me and i was able to jump my personal best of 100cm within 45min.
and not with a rope, with a pole mind you.

I would say, it looks pretty decent considering the fact i wasnt event able to clear half that height 45 min ago.

Jet lagged

So ive been back for two days now and im still jet lagged.
On the plane back, i was just having a conversation with my mum about being jet lagged.
I asked her if she would be jet lagged cause technically, we reach Singapore in the wee hours at 140am and hence the only thing we can do when we get home is to sleep.
Her reply was, nooooo.
She doesnt get jet lagged cause she barely sleep during the plane rides.
Well, my reply was an old person's body doesnt get adapted to different time zones so quickly and i bet her bottom that she would be insomnic.

But what do you know??
Here i am at 523am, typing away feeling wide awake and my mum has been sleeping for the past 6 hours.
It seems that the kettlebell workout i did 2 hours ago didnt do much to wear me down.
note to self: Google ways to treat jet lag/insomnia.

My handphone has been cranky since i got to LA and hence i am left without a working phone for now.
I hope people who tried contacting me can be patient till i get my phone fixed which is hopefully later on today.

I was talking to melala about dressing up last week after a day of studying
As a PE teahcer, my fashion fate is sealed to a life of PESS shirts and running shorts
The only consolation would be that the PESS shirts come in a myriad of colours
Its kinda sad especially for someone who likes to dress up and experiment with clothes.
Dont judge me here. I dont think i am vain, but i just like looking pleasent in my own sense.
But it is apparent that my future job does not allow me to do so.
To all PE teachers out there, here is a question for you.
Would you teach PE in spoting attire and then change into something nicer to teach in the classroom?
or would you just remain in your sporting attire the entire day?
On one hand, i would think that in order to preserve the image of a PE teacher, the latter would be more appropritae, but Melala was painting this picture of "the" female PE teacher that can rock both formal and sporting outfits.
How?
In my opinion, Ms Magdelyn Suey from MJ was the closest to the most dolled up PE teacher ive seen. And the only reason is because she wears alot of pink and carries a pnk lacoste bag. Thats probably about it.
And now i wondering, what is going to happen to my wardbrode that i have built over these years?
All the nice formal dresses, not so formal frocks and shorts and skirts that i get to wear now cause i am still a student.
The Hermes blazer is gonna turn grey in my wardrobe!!!

i've got flu blues

Caught stomach flu yesterday and i have to say it was one of the most awful day i have ever gone thorugh in my whole 21 years
i practically puked EVERYTHING out of my system and everything else that i take in after that
not to mention the body aches, watery stools and scorching fever that come tgt with it.

Mummy called me just now and told me that she, dad and Gina are going to San Fran and LA in october and she cant take me cause im schooling
