Jet lagged

So ive been back for two days now and im still jet lagged.
On the plane back, i was just having a conversation with my mum about being jet lagged.
I asked her if she would be jet lagged cause technically, we reach Singapore in the wee hours at 140am and hence the only thing we can do when we get home is to sleep.
Her reply was, nooooo.
She doesnt get jet lagged cause she barely sleep during the plane rides.
Well, my reply was an old person's body doesnt get adapted to different time zones so quickly and i bet her bottom that she would be insomnic.

But what do you know??
Here i am at 523am, typing away feeling wide awake and my mum has been sleeping for the past 6 hours.
It seems that the kettlebell workout i did 2 hours ago didnt do much to wear me down.
note to self: Google ways to treat jet lag/insomnia.
PRONTO!!

My handphone has been cranky since i got to LA and hence i am left without a working phone for now.
I hope people who tried contacting me can be patient till i get my phone fixed which is hopefully later on today.
this situation totally ruined my plan of msging some of my close friends
"IM BACK BITCHES!"
the moment i touched down at Changi.
BUMMER!!

I got bored on the airplane and opened up to my mum about they type of guys that catch my eye.
And then i pointed to the guy sitting infront of mum who caught my eye the moment he walked down the aisle
I was just going through my checklist and i did a mental check for most the must haves.
Sadly, mum isnt too happy to hear about my taste for the... how do i put it??
Exotic flavours??
And she told me the most racist thing you can ever imagine.
I leave you guys to think about it.
I dun think its that difficult to guess anyway.
Hah.

Hold my hand

Things will get better if you just hold my hand
Nothing can come between us if you just hold,

uno dos TRES

On the seventh day, God completed all his work and rested
We're not as almighty as the big one so...
We did on the 3rd.
Hahah
Actually, i did.
So here's the story.
Nicole woke me up at 1130 with the intention to vist Queen Victoria Market today
I told her to go get ready and by the time she is done, i'll be up
She did and i was still dead as a log, so she let me sleep a little more.
So she tried again at 1230, no response.
Woke me up at 3pm, and told me the market closes at 5pm
In all my grogginess, i asked her "Huh???!! den how?"
And nic replied: "Den go back to sleep den"
And so i did!
Finally woke up at 5pm
I was dead tired man
We decided that todays gonna be chill bill day anyway, so its cool

Nicole made dinner at home.
Korean kim chee noodles with stir fried beef and straw mushrooms
Yummy:)

so its 343am on my side now.
Just in case you dont know, we are 3 hours ahead of Singapore
Supposedly 2, but because of "daylight saving" they added 1 hour just a few days ago.
Nic tried explaining what day light saving is to me
But i still dont get it
Very warped theory

Plans for tmr?
Till then!
Ciao

p.s: YES GINA, i would LOVE TO BE YOUR BRIDE'S MAID:)
very nice site btw.
and i am glad you chose that picture of me, cause i like it too!

Oz too

Happy Boxing Day guys!
Day two down under is jammed packed with action and I'll tell you why
We woke up at 430am zomg cause traditionally on boxing day all the malls hold this great great sale and open their door at an unearthly 5am and close at 12pm

Our very first destination was Burket street.
It is kinda like the Orchard Road in singapore
We took a tram there and reached the place at an unearthly time of 545am

Oooh! and guess what?
As I approach the place, I was greeted by this very apt piece of art

A giant Purse
As i look at the picture now, i pity that smiley girl on the giant purse who has no idea that she had just sealed the deal with the giant purse of spending for the rest of the day.

pit stop 1: Myer
Trying out lovely hats which nicole eventually bought.

after a very fruitful shopping experience at myer with no photos as we were too busy shopping, we headed to the train station to make a pilgrimage to Chadston, the fashion capital of Melbourne
En route Chadston, eating subway at Flinders train station.

Yes, they allow food- They even have little vendors selling food at the platform.
How cool is that?
Anyway, Chadston is like this giant shopping mall with every shop you can imagine
From the super atas like Louis Vuiton to the very affordable Cotton on.
As we were busy shopping, i didnt manage to take any photos
For a little break, we hopped over to the pankncake house for a little sugar rush with an order of double stack pancakes with a single scoop of vanilla ice cream- each.
And because we over spent, we can only dream abt drinking something else other than water,

After ice cream, we were good to go and began our long journey back to Bourke Street via the trains again
Candids while waiting for the trains.

Before going back home, we went to Woolworths to get do some grocerry shopping
This supermarket is damn cool.
You check your own items out
Here is nicole scanning the bar codes on the food and putting them into the plastic bags on her own.

Cool right?
I remembered i wanted to be a cashier when i was young.
Shopping here would definitely be a perfect alternative to being a cashier for real
Not sure if it increases efficiency though caused the machine screwed up many time and we needed the assitant's help to reset the machine.

Nicole got me a belated christmas pressie and i LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE it.
Everyone, meet

..

..

..

..

my new orang utan!!
Hector i call it.
Hector the orang.
Cute right?

So after a jammed packed day,
being back at home is kinda weird.
So, to let off the excess energy that we have, i present to you some good girls gone bad down in melbourne.
Hah.

Siao cha bors. Okay....more like siao cha bor-singular.
Nicole is totally patronizing me. Look at the unwillingness in her face.
Party pooper!
haha
anyway, till the next adventure!
i think tmr is a day for recovery
Damn shagzz

Oz 1

Merry Christmas from down under!
Chritmas in Melbourne is kinda like chinese new year in China.
The whole place is a freaking ghost town.
Basically all major and even minor stores are closed for today
So, its a chill and relax day for me

When i touched down, i called nicole who was supposed to come pick me up at the airport.
But dear miss teo partied a little too hard last night, so she kinda overslept.
Took a cab all the way to her place by myself and i nearly fainted cause the cab fare was like MAD CRAZY
The meter doesnt moves, it freaking run cause it increases by 10cents every second.
I paid 57 aussie bucks just to cab to her place.
Please do not tell me the amount in Sing dollars cause i think i may cry.

So, since the stores are all closed, we tried out luck with the restaurants and thank god they were open
But we had to walk like damn far
and i dont like to walk damn far so i was like complaining all the way

Settled for italian and boy was it good
We had mixed pasta combo for 2 that comes with out choice of 3 pasta

1. Risotto Pollo
2. Spaghetti Meatballs
3. Linguine Prawn
Aewsome yum.
The serving here is like mad huge so we were stuffed and left the meatballs one out cause it was the least favourite
The risotto is awesome. Best one i have tried.

Anyway here is a story that nicole shared with me today and i think its damn funny.
She was trying to tell me about the racism situation in aust and how the whites hate the ah nehs and ah tiongs(which is us in aussie context)
After that she was getting to a point where you dont mess with the vietnamese here cause they are like post war generation and are super gung ho abt everything
So 3 white aussie guys where messing around in the club and the accidentally bumbed into a vietnamese guy
The vietnamese guy was so angry that he went to his car and took out a SAMURAI SWORD
he unsheathed the sword and chased the 3 guys while dragging it on the floor, you can see a trail of sparks
So he basically killed 2 of the white guys with the sword and only one survived
No.1 who carries a freaking samurai sword in their car?
No.2 dragging the sword to create sparks?
haha...
yeah.. thats the funny part.

So boxing day sales tmr starts at 5am!!
zomgwtfknsgtglolbrbstuf
I dunno how i am supposed to wake up
till then.
uodates soon:)

4-3=???

NUMERO UNO!!
1
satu
yi.
thats all the variations of 1 that i know.
and i am too lazy to google it

You dont know how sick i am of writing essays.
Its essays after essays after assays.
My phalanges are hurting from the constant rushing and stress from writing all the 25marks long answer with each passing paper that i take
But....
just one more baby!
hang in there!

For dearies like Marcus, Mei mei, Kas, Wee lin, Yanner and Pei Shit
i really know what you guys are going through right now,
AND ALL OF YOU DESERVE IT CAUSE I WENT THROUGH THE EXACT SAME SHIT!!
chillax.... kidding!!
just hang in there and we can all go chill after that yeah??:))

I think i really need to get out of this place
This place- meaning Singapore the little red dot.
I have began to notice this trend that has been going on in the recent years of my life.
Its like a natural instinct or something.
The urge to get out of the country is strong within me whenever the holidays arrive.
Its is an adult thing to do?
Or perhaps i am just nomadic in nature(that is only duriing the holidays)
Anyway, whatever it is i am determined, bent, ascertain that i will go on a well deserved holiday like usual
So i have decided

Nicole Teo Ping!!!
I am so coming down under to look for you!

Can i stay for like 3 weeks or something?
Yay to free lodging!!
No need to pay for hotel, air ticket settled by parents.
Which means that the all useful resuorce my pay can go to......

i dunno why i am feeling this way

hi!
back from taipei.
I guess the highlight of our time there was that we perspired buckets cause its just so freaking hot and humid over there. Temperatures could soar to a skin searing 35 degrees on a normal day.
We had to get huge sun hats, wear our sunglasses, apply sun protection and in the night, fend off blood sucking mosquitoes and houseflies.
Apart from the weather though, the place was awesome.
Taiwanese have to be one of the friendliest and welcoming people i have ever met.
Wherever we got lost or can get our navigation right, there are no lack of people to turn to for help. And there were even people who took a detour and lead us all the way to our destination.
Such kind souls i tell you.
I guess, i will try to upload pictures.
But as you know, it probabaly will never happen cause im just too lazy

School experience started on tuesday, this week i am at East View Primary school.
I have to say, primary school kids are not as irritating as i thought they would be. In fact, i am actually growing to like them.
I got assigned to the best and not so good classes and the stark difference in the students behaviour kinda took me by surprise.
The tail end classes, surprisingly were more out spoken and asked more questions while the better classes were more afraid to ask questions and give answers
weird right?
and its very weird when they call me teacher.
"teacher teacher! are you coming to our class again? come in! can i go toilet?"

I was watching the michael jackson tribute this morning from 1am to 4am and i had to go to school at 630am.
I know! Crazy!
But i reckoned this tribute would only come once in my entire living years so what the heck man.
Well, i cried like a baby.
Its just so sad to see such a talented man pass way before his time.
I somehow think that the world would change after his comeback concert, but it was never meant to be.
And the finale when Paris jackson broke down just tore me apart.
I still think that the man is innocent and remeber having a heated debate over this issue with mr wei heng who thinks that man is wacko.
The world would never see another artist, singer, performer like Michael Jackson, thats for sure.
His global dominace was one and only.
I think with the way we are able to get music and entertainment now, it is impossible to produce another MJ ever-EVER.
I really love the quote from one of the reverend, he told MJ's 3 children,
"There was nothing strange with your daddy, it was strange what he had to deal with, but he dealt with them all."
touche to that.
The power of the media in pushing people to desperation.
So, right now, its goodbye to a world icon, one of my favourite artist of all time.
RIP Michael Jackson!
your songs are on heavy rotation on my playlist.
I will be buying your cds and dvds soon.
I remeber my dad had a laser disc of his History album, but i have no idea where it is anymore.
