Saving the world before bedtime

PPGs outing yet again
this time, we went to the Body Worlds exhibition at the Singapore Science Centre
I remember being all excited back in 2003 when they had their debut exhibition at the expo and i spent half at the exhibition looking at dead plastinated bodies and my mum shopped at the john little sale at the next exhibition hall while waiting for me.

So this time, they held the exhibition at the science centre
i must say, the ambience and concept of the whole exhibition was much better than than the one back in 03
Instead of placing all the exhibits right smack in the middle of the showroom, they have adopted to showcase them through a progressive journey starting from conception to death.
Pretty cool in my opinion
I saw a cross section of a dead couple having sexual intercourse(??!!)
Many hanging male genitilials(melati you sicko)
Something closer to home, was someone with a serious constipation problem resulting in an "acquired mega colon"- note to self: eat more fibre jacq.
Other than the amazing exhibits, we also had fun collecting inked stamps that was located all around the exhibition
The stamps came in shapes of a feotus, heart, brain and lungs
PPGs were running rampant looking for inked stamps to stamp on our hands as well as our exhibition guide

Well, on top of waking up late(melati!!) and hence reaching the science centre only at 4pm, we spent almost 2 whole hours in the exhbit which leaves us basically no time for the uber fun science centre which we paid for as well.

Mummy egypitian exhibition
Zoo???-melati's idea (only reason for me is to see monkeys, gorillas, chimpanzees and orang utans. and the HUGE orang utan soft toy that i am trying to get. Christmas present? Any takers?? :p)

So after body worlds, we took a damn long hike back to Imm- a mall- with aircon and many outlets- which only begets one thing
Shopping.
Sarah proclaimed that Cotton on is to her what Forever 21's to me, and since they had this enormous sale sign we went stright in and the rest is his toe ree.

Before i forget,
while i was leaving my block to meet the PPGs
I noticed a few kids playing catch in the void deck under my block
while walking past them, one of the boys pointed his imaginary gun(fingers) at me and shouted
"FIRE IN THE HOLE!!! Bang Bang Bang!!!"
he was like what? 4 or 5 years old?

Seriouslly, what are young kids being exposed to nowdays????
