the wonders of the internet
i thought i was low profile.
anyway, yay!
everything's settled for the regatta race on the 22nd and 23rd
thanks Miss Lim for all the hard work and coordination
im expecting a lot of fun as ex meridian canoeist take it to the waters again
i am not expecting much out of this competiton except for a whole lot of fun.
we'll prolly get booted out cause everyone is so out of shape
but the main thing is for team bonding and get together
i'll be rowing for MOE on that day too.
this ought to be fun,
my first serious dragon boat competiton and i'm not really into the whole dragon boating culture in the first place.
its just amazing how we can go out of touch for so long,
and yet when its down to crunch time,
the right people are always there to back you up.
42 people signed up for a 20 men event.
this is team spirit for everyone.
okay, 2 weeks to study and train for SEACC trial and regatta
i'll prolly get trashed by all the nat team people for the trials but its worth a shot.
lets see how i work under pressure.
monday starts my training hopefully intensive
p.s: i keep hearing "trahed trashed trashed" at the back of my mind. this is bad. go away!
